In Supernatural’s 11th episode of Season 12, “Regarding Dean,” we get witches, a bunny, tiny vodkas, and lots and lots of Dean Winchester—both the silly and the sad. “Regarding Dean” was written by new Supernatural writer Meredith Glynn, who also wrote “The One You’ve Been Waiting For” (S12E05, AKA the Hitler one). Castiel’s past comes back to haunt him in “Lily Sunder Has Some Regrets.” It turns out there are consequences for some actions, whether “comic” or not. Castiel isn’t the only angel who appreciates humans on Supernatural, but he often seems to be in the minority amongst those of the Heavenly realm. Teen Wolf S06E10 Recap: Riders on the Storm

Just in case we weren’t already feeling sad enough that this is the last season of Teen Wolf, they go ahead and crush it with the fantastic winter finale “Riders on the Storm.” Way to cap off what has been a pretty amazing season, Teen Wolf. There was action, gore, romance, nostalgia, humor, and some of the hardcore emotional bromance that we love in Teen Wolf. What we’re trying to say is that “Riders on the Storm” was good … real good.

In “First Blood,” Sam and Dean have been taken by the Secret Service for trying to assassinate the president. Castiel and Mary have no idea how to find them. The black ops imprisonment doesn’t feel like Supernatural, but perhaps that’s the point. Still, we’ll take monster hunts over secret American military installations any day of the week. Despite the incongruence, “First Blood” manages to include a few lines destined to become Supernatural classics, as well as emotional Winchester family moments. “

Teen Wolf S06E09 Recap: Memory Found

In “Memory Found,” we find that most of Beacon Hills has been trapped in train station oblivion by those pesky Ghost Riders. Scott is determined to remember Stiles so he can bring everyone back. It’s not entirely clear how recovering memories of Stiles has become the Holy Grail of Teen Wolf. If we can’t get the actual Dylan O’Brien on the Teen Wolf set due to his big deal movie career, we might as well settle for a clipshow of his emotional moments throughout the years. Why not? It’s not as if we’ve been rewatching these scenes on YouTube during the Stiles drought. Certainly not.

In “Blitzkrieg,” the Ghost Riders are conducting a sustained attack on the town of Beacon Hills. As most the town gets picked off, we start to wonder—is this how Teen Wolf is going to end? Will everyone eventually be cast into oblivion, or at least an oblivion-like train station? At first we think, “Oh, Lord, don’t let it end in a train station.” Then we realize that leaving Beacon Hills completely empty, except for a lone banshee living in Eichen House, would kind of be an amazing ending for the Teen Wolf series.
