“Beyond the Wall” reminds us who the real enemy is in Game of Thrones—a convoluted storyline. Writers David Benioff and D.B. Directed by Matt Shakman and written by showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, “The Spoils of War” is grounded in the kind of character-driven storytelling that has kept us captivated over seven seasons. There are moments of revelation, joy, and conflict throughout “The Spoils of War,” but Game of Thrones doesn’t stop there.
