In “The Friendliest Place on Earth,” Wayward Pines shows us the beginning of the end. As things start to unravel, it’s not clear if we should anticipate an end to the insurgency, an end to David Pilcher’s authoritarian regime, or an end to the town of Wayward Pines. But something’s got to change, and Wayward Pines stands on the precipice.

Teen Wolf S05E03 Recap: Dreamcatchers
3In episode 3 of Teen Wolf we can’t help but wonder, “Who doesn’t know about the supernatural creatures in Beacon Hills?” After “Dreamcatchers,” not only do Liam’s best friend and worst enemy both know something’s up, but the entire Sheriff’s department and Lydia’s mom also learn that things are not what they seem. What’s the percentage of Beacon Hills residents with creature features? The Season 4 deadpool may have reduced the numbers, but the Dread Doctors seem determined to raise the count back up through their horrifying experimentation. In “Dreamcatchers,” we learn that their experiments are quickly discarded when the Dread Doctors feel they have outlived their purpose, though its not clear what that purpose may be.

The Walking Dead Season 6 Trailer Released at Comic-Con
1Fans got a first glimpse of Season 6 at The Walking Dead panel at Comic-Con 2015. The sixth season of AMC’s highly rated drama picks up where Season 5 left off, and we will get to see how the people of Alexandria deal with the reality of the outside world. The reunion between Morgan (Lennie James) and Rick (Andrew Lincoln) will bring some additional tension into the community because Morgan has a different view of humanity than Rick does. These two men, who have at times had a similar path, have found ways to survive despite the inhumanity that surrounds them. Rick’s low tolerance of those who put his friends and family at risk may run counter to Morgan’s approach of leaving humans alive, even when they’re dangerous to others. Even Daryl’s (Norman Reedus) loyalty to Rick may be tested.
In the Season 5 finale “Conquer” Deanna (Tovah Feldshuh) and the people of Alexandria were shocked that one walker could get into their community. Wait until they see what’s in store for them in Season 6. The area around Alexandria has had relatively few walkers, but that’s about to change.
In the upcoming season Nurse Jackie Emmy winner Merritt Wever will play a character from the comic and Ethan Embry, from Grace and Frankie, is also join the cast. Executive Producer Scott Gimple will return to helm for Season 6. Lennie James will become a series regular. During the comic-con panel Gimple revealed that we will learn more about Morgan’s journey through a series of flashbacks.
The Walking Dead Season 6 will premiere on Sunday, October 11th with an extended 90-minute episode. If you can’t wait until the fall for more walker action, AMC’s summer series Fear the Walking Dead will begin airing August 23.

Wayward Pines S01E07 Recap: Betrayal
0
Wayward Pines serves us up some “Betrayal,” as some of the townsfolk are at the breaking point. The town rules, the inability to leave, and the public killings make Wayward Pines a less than ideal living environment. This is particularly true for those who don’t like to play pretend all the time: those referred to as the “subversives.” It looks like Ethan Burke has been indoctrinated into the official party line of Wayward Pines just in time to try to stop their shenanigans.
Teen Wolf S05E02 Recap: Parasomnia
3
Season 5 of Teen Wolf is going for that horror film vibe. We saw it in the first episode, “Creatures of the Night,” with Lydia at the very gothic Eichen House. In the second episode, “Parasominia,” we get a spooky dream sequence involving a raven. The anticipatory hype about the Dread Doctors seems well-deserved, as they have proven terrifying thus far.

0Teen Wolf S05E01 Recap: Creatures of the Night
12
Teen Wolf is off to a roaring start with the Season 5 premiere “Creatures of the Night.” It’s senior year for Scott, Stiles, Malia, Lydia, and Kira, and as well as feeling the normal existential angst that comes during the last year of high school, these teens have supernatural angst to deal with. We are thrown right into the thick of it, Teen Wolf style, with senior rites of passage, exasperated parents, the return of a childhood friend, and teenage make-out sessions, along with an epic fight, an introduction to new baddies, and a preview of dark things to come. Despite the loss of Tyler Hoechlin as a series regular, Season 5 of Teen Wolf is off to a strong start with “Creatures of the Night.”
