With conventions being part of the mainstream, Supernatural alumni Richard Speight, Jr, and Rob Benedict have taken con culture a step further by creating a digital series called Kings of Con, currently streaming on Comic-Con HQ. Supernatural: Rob Benedict and Richard Speight, Jr. Launch New Comedy Series Kings of Con
8Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a part of the convention circuit? Who hasn’t? Well, now is your chance to find out through the comedy series Kings of Con. Supernatural actors Rob Benedict (Chuck Shurley/Carver Edlund) and Richard Speight, Jr. (Gabriel) have launched an indiegogo campaign to fund their Kings of Con project through crowdsourcing. Kings of Con will have great appeal for those who have been to Supernatural conventions and other con events.
Who appeared at the end of Supernatural Fan Fiction?
17At the end of the Supernatural episode, “Fan Fiction,” play director Marie walks up to a figure standing in the back of the auditorium. Supernatural fans watched with bated breath, waiting to see who this figure was going to be. It turned out that the person that Marie was so excited to see was Chuck Shurley. Chuck is also known by his nom de plume, Carver Edlund. Long-time fans of Supernatural were thrilled to see Chuck, a beloved character who hadn’t appeared since the Season 5 finale, “Swan Song.”
