“The Long Night” brought some closure in this final season of Game of Thrones. This conflict has been coming since the very first scene in the series, when a White Walker attacked a group of Night’s Watch rangers scouting beyond the Wall. After the battle of Hardhome it was evident that if the Night King and his ever-growing army made it beyond the wall, all of Westeros could be lost.
