Surely, “Don’t Call Me Shurley” is the most exciting Supernatural episode in terms of mythology since we learned angels exist in Season 4. Don’t know about you, but we’re still pretty giddy. “Don’t Call Me Shurley” reminds us why we still love this ever-evolving series after 11 seasons: great stories, engaging dialogue, fantastic music, beautiful exterior shots, amazing sets, cool props, and skilled actors. These blank lined notebooks are in the style of the fictional novels by the also-fictional author Carver Edlund from Supernatural. Notebooks are 5.5″ x 8.5″ digest-size, perfect-bound paperbacks. 214 pages. These extremely limited collector’s books are unavailable for sale. You won’t find one anywhere else!

Entries must be received by midnight on Halloween (October 31, 2015). The winner will be posted here, along with a link to their site if desired.

Sam and Dean driving into the sunset—a typical scene in much fan fiction

This has been an exciting season of Supernatural so far. We started out with a very funny, and slightly mysterious, episode with “Black.” Then we had a couple episodes of Dean being absolutely terrifying in “Reichenbach” and “Soul Survivor.” Then last week we enjoyed a refreshing change with “ the traditional Monster of the Week format of “Paper Moon.” There hasn’t been a moment when we were bored or an episode where we didn’t laugh out loud. Sure there been aspects we haven’t liked this season, and by aspects we mean Cole, but overall Supernatural has kept us engaged and expectant of what the next week will bring. In terms of being expectant, our hopes were high for this week’s “Fan Fiction” and we were not disappointed. Continue reading →
