While NBC’s Constantine has been canceled, our favorite trench-coated mage is returning to television this fall on the CW’s Arrow, albeit for just one episode. Look for JC in the fifth episode of Arrow‘s Season 4.

It’s great to see that Constantine will remain a part of the DC television universe, making a cameo appearance as he so often has in comics such as Swamp Thing and Sandman. Although we enjoyed Constantine and were sad to see the show go, we were much more attached to Matt Ryan’s fantastic portrayal of Constantine than any other aspect of the series. So the possibility of Ryan’s Constantine appearing elsewhere here and there is welcome news.
